Carkenny

Your car, at a glance

Carkenny connects to a car through its existing connected service, then shows and records what the car shares. Here is how it looks.

Walk through the app

Select a screen. These are real screenshots from the app running on a test car. Location details are blurred.

What the app can see

Filter by where the data comes from. Some signals come through the car's existing connection today. Others need a partnership with the automaker.

How it connects

  1. The owner signs in. They approve access to the car through the maker's own app or connected-car interface.
  2. Carkenny monitors. Location, speed and vehicle status the car shares are recorded with timestamps.
  3. The owner exports. A packet can be downloaded or shared when it matters.

What an app connection can see depends on the car and its maker. Cabin camera, microphone and driver-hand signals are not available this way and would need a partnership with the automaker. See the stages.
